Background

Dr. Jeff Glenn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health where he teaches courses on health systems, health policy, and public health leadership. He received his BA in International Relations from BYU, his Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Southern California, and his Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. Prior to coming to BYU he worked as a Public Health Advisor in the Division of Cancer Prevention and Control at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Cancer Research

Dr. Glenn is a health policy and systems researcher interested in evidence-based policy and in health systems strengthening. His current cancer research interests include global health governance related to cancer, the impact of strengthening health systems in low-income countries on cancer prevention and control, access to treatment for cancer patients, and the needs of cancer survivors.
